Maliheh Firouzeh, a 24-year-old female, was reportedly arrested on January 8, 2026, in Bojnourd after being shot with pellets. She died in custody under torture, with her body showing severe signs of abuse including burns, fractures, and a missing left eye. Authorities reportedly coerced her family into stating her death was a suicide. Her body was returned to her family approximately 25 days after her arrest.
ملیحه فیروزه، زن ۲۴ ساله، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در بجنورد پس از اصابت ساچمه دستگیر شد. او در بازداشتگاه تحت شکنجه جان باخت و پیکرش آثار شدید شکنجه از جمله سوختگی، شکستگی و از بین رفتن چشم چپ را نشان میداد. مقامات خانواده او را مجبور کردند تا مرگ او را خودکشی اعلام کنند. پیکر او حدود ۲۵ روز پس از بازداشت به خانوادهاش تحویل داده شد.
